Sarah, I can't get over his little face! lol It is so cute. Perfect title by the way. Okay, I really like this shot. The clarity is awesome and the use of rule of thirds. The only distraction is the missing part of the leaf in the backgroung. |

This is sooo funny! What a great find. I love the dof and colors, and great comp. The only "sour" for me is the half eaten leaf (if that's what happened to it). But hardly something to complain about when you've got eye contact like this! |

Awesome capture - love the eyes and the look of shock on these cool fellow's face. I wonder if a closer crop would be better to really show off the details in the butterfly. |

Oooooooo you have a touch of macro envy from me here!!!! I love taking these kinds of shots, but I have never been able to get the eyes the way that you have done here
I think that another one of my sweet comments might also represent other peoples 'sour' comments if this was in a challenge, because I really like the way it does not fully fill the frame which (from my perspective) means you get a chance to look at the butterfly and really appreciate its form. However in a challenge people may want more of an 'in your face' image.
I like the way the wings run across the rule of thirds line and the bokeh. Even the dof of the leaf is perfect
Sour...I am struggling on, perhaps the antennae could have been a tad sharper, but in truth I wish I had taken this picture!!!!! |

ROTFL - he looks cross eyed! What a wonderful macro entry this would be! Consider this for the free study. The humor in the shot is such a great extra.
Sour - the stringy thing off the wing. Clone that out and it is perfect! |
