| the blurred out of focus dark images really are rather unappealing. That light feels as if it will burn my eyes if I continue trying to look at the image, it is just completely over powering towards the rest. |

| Never seen this one so I will assume your scene is representative. Like the light to set a mood, but could use a bit sharper focus. |

| Not a bad idea, but it's very dark and blurry. If you want a dark feeling, try shooting it lighter, which will let you get better focus and a faster shutter speed. Then you can edit it to be darker. |

| I think your image suffers from the blur and the poor lighting. It took me a second glance to notice there are three people in the image. |

| Too dark and too blurry I think a tripod would have been very useful. |
