Well this movie was actually my first inspiration to join DPC. (Besides Larus and De Sousa that is). My very first DPC challenge was the James Bond challenge. I believe this one compared to my first challenge is night and day. Here is a link here to my first one ever.

I credit DPC and all the people involved here, for everthing I have learned with photography. Its amazing how far I feel I have come from my first challenge.

This is me just goofin off again. I loved this movie and thought I could try a go at it again. (Not so great the first time around). I took this shot down in my basement, I felt it had the dark feel to it and was able to light it pretty good. Lit with a homemade soft box above and a droplight on the wall behind me. I had my wife stand where I was gonna be, while I made the adjustments on the camera, such as focus, aperature, etc... then I ran into the shot and she hit the shutter for me. Gotta love that woman. She is there at every shot helpin me. Hope everyone enjoys, and would love to hear some feedback on my lighting.

Adjustments:
Shot in Raw
Sharpen, Brightness, White Balance
In Jpeg
New Layer for Brightness & Contrast, Curves, and
Hue & Saturation.
Created Layer Mask on a few of these Layers to bring out background and tux.
Selective Color, USM, Created Layer for Neat Image. Flatten Image. Sharpen. Dodge & Burn, Hue & Saturation again. Crop, Resize, Save for Web

Thanks everyone for the great comments. The OOF gun was on purpose, just tryin to copy one of the posters from the movie, it was so difficult to get that OOF, the other 20 shots the gun was in focus, and everyone wanted it in focus. DOH!! Thanks again. :)

The model is very clean however I find the background and tip of the gun to be distracting.

Shadows are a bit out of control and the gun barrel is a bit out of focus. I'm not sure what the meaning of this photo is.

very nice, crisp image. the background works well with the rest iof the image...only thing is the loss of detail on the gun. that's only if i had to nitpick. great tonal range in the face, clarity is spot on. nice work!

Good lighting, but the gun needs a little work to prevent the blur. 8

It almost works, if only the DoF had been deep enough to get the tip of the silencer, too.

Cool, I love that movie. I think the gun should have been a little closer to the camera and then desat the entire image some to give it that cold feeling. This would have been a perfect image.

I think I would have liked this better if the model wasn't engaging the camera, but was looking over his sights.
