Thank you. I think I will see about rotating a bit. Did not have a tripod. I was walking with people down this alley and saw this shot. I agree in retrospect that I should have worked get a faste shutter sppeds. |

I like the colors, and composition. There are two simple things that would improve this photo a lot. First, I would rotate it CCW to straighten the walls. Viewed from any angle, vertical lines are always vertical. Of course wide angle lens will distort those lines, but in opposite directions. The second thing I would do would be to crop it a little to eliminate the other buildings.
Looking at your camera settings, I was wondering if you used a tripod to take this photo. 1/80th of a second is a little slow for hand held. Since you didn't need a lot of depth of field for this shot, I think I would have opened the aperture a couple of stops, and used 1/125th of a second for the shutter speed. |
