| This was shot in RAW and edited quite extensively in CS3. I brightened the fire and darkened a lot of the stuff in the lower right. And I had to do a fair amount to the central figure and the thing on the spit to make it stand out better. There was too big a crowd for me to use a tripod so I suppose it could be classified as a snapshot. |

| 10. I don't like the border, and there is a little tiny spot at the extreme left edge that I'd have cloned out. However! I love love LOVE the colors, spooky mood... this is really an excellent shot and it definitely captures the essence of Halloween. Great job - one of my favorites for this challenge (my third favorite)!! |

Those people have a committment to the theme for sure.
However this image seems more like a snapshot than a competitive entry for a challenge. |
