this is really cool. i'm wondering if you darkened the blacks in just the nose, eyes and mouth if more people would have actually gotten it or actually spent the extra second looking.

Ha this used the flood filter?? asking SC for a validation on this one.. if its legal its a nice shot.

(the reason I ask is that I have had a ruler up against it and the line between water & land is dead straight, almost too straight). 6 pending validation.

Huh. Very interesting! It meets the challenge for me because it does look like a spooky face, plus the colors are very Octoberish. I'm wondering how it might have been if the blue were cropped off entirely. Anyway, I like the idea behind this and think you did a good job :-)
