 This was the lake I was taking photos of when the ladies in red rounded the bend. I know I took this image last week, but I thought you would like to see the fall colors one more time. I do! We are waiting on snow. It typically falls on Halloween night and melts the next day, but by Thanksgiving...winter will be here for a long, long time for us.

I love this beautiful lake. It's 20 minutes from my house and is right around the corner from my Doctor's office.

I had MRSA on my finger and that's the reason I stopped taking photos in mid month. I was on 1200 mg of antibiotics and was sick from them...but all's well now!! Thank God.

I processed the image today, though!!

I NEVER take this gorgeous place for granted. I just need to learn to process my thousands of images of this area that has grabbed my heart and soul. I never share these images because my editing skills are horrible and never do the places justice.

This is a lovely image, Darlene. I love how the lake disappears into the hills in the distance. And the fall colors are beautiful. I, also, keep going back over and over to the places I love. They just seem to get better and better.
