needs some more detail in the face but black dogs/cats/furry animals can be difficult to shoot

The image is not working. The lighting and position mean that we cannot clearly see the features of this 'dog'. It just looks like a blob with the smallest suggestion of an eye and tongue. Lack of clarity really means the subject is lost.
