Date Uploaded: Oct 28, 2007

Image required very little adjustment. Colour corrected & sharpened only. No flash, used natural light. No tripod. Was looking to capture the subject with a mood to enhance the mystery and history associated with late 1800's & early 1900's grave markers.

I like the misty feel of the image a lot. Two things that might make it work a little better...the monument looks like it's not standing up straight. It may actually not stand up straight in real life, but for someone who doesn't know that, the tilt is a bit disconcerting. The second thing...did you try cropping a bit off the left to get the monument a bit off center? I'm thinking that might help give the composition some life. It's pretty static with the monument plopped in the middle of the frame.
