 | I picked up my new (OK, barely used) Rebel XTi yesterday, but I still used the SD700is point & shoot for this one. I can't fit an SLR inside the typewriter. Once again, it's set to macro. I really like the macro mode on that little camera.
This is the same typewriter is used in these two shots:

I just set it on the basement floor and pointed a desk lamp in to it.

I know I clipped the edge of the 'G'. I tried to re-shoot it, but I couldn't get the light the same. I wish I could. I flipped it vertical because it just didn't have any 'punch' in it's original horizontal.

 And, did I mention...it's hand-held...for one second.

After the voting: Sweet! Never really expected a top 10 with this. Thanks for all the nice votes & comments.

And for those that think they can't do well with a Point & Shoot, four of the top ten in this challenge were P&S, including the winner and third & fourth place.

		| | Very good idea and execution of the idea. Good tones, focus and composition. I think you chose correctly in making it vertical. Congrats on a top 10 finish! |

		| | I wish this was on a little bit of an angle, the straight row isn't as interesting. Great idea though, nice lighting. |
