 A very old dried thistle that I keep because it has a beautiful shape. This was a tough subject with lots of contrasts. But since I wanted to bring out the highlights of the pod, not the background, I made more adjustments than usual.
Convert from RAW, crop, levels, shadows & highlights, color adjustments, partly desat the blues (using global selective colors) in the background, sharpen, noise ninja.
