 I experimented with a number of crops on this one, and liked this one best. I'd be interested in other opinions on this crop.

The Monarch Butterflies are back in northern California now. They are here October-February, with greatest concentration in Dec,Jan. This was taken in Santa Cruz at the National Bridges State Park, where they come every year. It's always a treat to see the first ones...

I love how your focus isolated the light on the butterfly and darkened the background. Very nice!
