 Ken and I went to the beach tonight to try and capture what we thought was going to be another awesome sunset but, it turned out to be kind of a dud. Instead of the light being dispersed through the clouds it was kind of a sliver of color in front of the clouds. Grrrrrrrrrrr at the thick cloud cover. I went ahead and took some pictures anyway. I liked the bright orange of the sky.

Sorry for another lighthouse picture. I know you all are probably getting tired of seeing it but, it is all I had for today.

I think this still is a very nice sunset! I like the star effect on the light tower too.

This is beautiful. The small band of orange, and the long reflection in the water tend to draw my attention straight to the lighthouse. I also like the reflection of the sky colors in the water. What a low sky.

Dang!!! Like I mentioned in yours or Ken's already.. .you keep turning out lighthouse photos this versatile and this stunning, and I could look at one every day for the rest of my life!!! WOW!!!!!!

Not at all a dud! However, I know what you mean when you hope for colors throughout the clouds and all you end up with is a sliver of color. But this is GORGEOUS! I love seeing that lighthouse as well, nothing to get tired of there. This is one of my favorites of yours so far!

It might be another one, but it is really stunning with the orange stripe of sunset going horizontally along the same plane as the structure. Perfect reflection and I love the light flare!!

No, not getting tired of seeing the light house. This is absolutely beautiful! Stunningly simple and breath taking. The flare of the light and the reflection are awesome.
