 Wheel on a cart used to transport bricks in and out of a kiln by prisoners at Lorton Prison in Occoquan, VA, in the early 1900s. The cart is now sitting in front of the long-locked kiln. I had some pix of the cart where you could see part of the kiln, but preferred this shot for the closeup of the rust, the curves and lines of the wheels, the little clump of dead grass and the leaves.


PP - converted from RAW, cropped, increased saturation and contrast, added border, resized, sharpened.
