lol is deb talking you into doing hand shots now? i think everything is in great focus, and a wonderful idea for the challenge. I would like to have seen just a bit less yellow in the pic.

Good idea. Not fond of the lighting. I'd have looked at reducing the yellow tones with selective colours yellow (if you have photoshop).

For me, the overall yellow cast isn't appealing, yet I like the composition and your idea - it shows creative thinking. I also wonder if you rotated it slightly counter-clockwise and cropped it slightly at the top to gemove that upper tan/brown corner.

great job on showing distance. I like the placement of the mug. I would have shown a little more of the arm. It looks the hand is chopped at the wrist.

I think you did great with the composition here, but I don't think it is as clever, or well thought out, as a lot of the other pictures I have been seeing.
