The composition, lighting and contrast are all excellent. The sharp focus is a plus as well as the names and dates add additional interest. The shadows under the right side of her face add to the perception of sorrow. This is one of my favorites in this challenge. Well done.

Assume a polariser was used which has create nice deep colours. Quite a few sensor dust spots which could have been edited.
