DPC is such a friggin cliche maker. Take a good, simple photograph that has no meaning and it will do well.

If this does well (I doubt it will, I'm just saying it's a worse version of everything else on here), I have no respect for DPC.

I dont know how long ago this was posted but seriously you are 16 i am only 17, i have been into photography for almost 2 years just expirimenting and thats what more than 80 percent of the people on this site are doing and posting...its a forum for people, professional and amature can post things and get feedback. but i see by your photo's that you just all that is and ever will be photography, you'll go on to be the next ansel adams or better yet you will be the best there ever was and everyone will bow down to the mention of your name because you are all that photography has ever been waiting for.

oh and just for the record dont post something cliche if when you are trying to call people out for being cliche.

you say:"DPC is such a friggin cliche maker. Take a good, simple photograph that has no meaning and it will do well.

So why enter? Just to prove your artistic snobbery? How cliche we all are?
Why bother? Obviously this is a waste of your very high minded time!

I had to edit this post because i see you are 16. So to a degree I can cut you some slack, you think you know and can conquer everything at 16, which is not a bad thing, but you have some growing up to do.
And for the record...I love the shot!

I like the concept.

Nice effect with the water. Colors could be stronger for more impact.

I don't see how this communicates distance. Too much is lost in the shadows.

Technically well done, but the concept is not so emotional to me personally
