A good idea, but I think the lighting is too dead on front and center. Moving the lights might give it some more interest, especially on the glass bowl.
Nice set up on this shot..must have taken some time! I think maybe my eye would flow through the shot more if the skittles in the front were in focus, with the "pot" slightly blurred.
the focus seems a bit far off - too much in the foreground is out of focus that it almost makes it look like the whole image is. Also there is a strange gray smudge around the rim of the bowl that really takes away from the image
I like your idea - it's creative. For me, I'm not crazy about the blurry foreground. I do like the bowl and how the candies are placed against it. You must have patience to set this up! Lol
