 Here is the second lightening shot I caught on Thursday evening. Once I got one, I was able to get several more. It was a lightening storm frenzy! Now that I think of it there weren't that many people down on the beach considering it was a nice evening. I wonder why???? lol At any rate, it was good that the storms were quite a ways out from us.

Oh wow, I think that this one's even better than the first shot. The colors are richer and the lighting is even more dramatic. Wonderful!

I wouldn't know it was lightning, I'd think it was the moon behind the clouds but it is really beautiful, dramatic clouds.

Amazing! It's VERY atmospheric (no pun) and emotive. Great job for capturing it, for one, and for the excellent processing!

Oh - and I'm such a storm fanatic. Hanging out at the beach during a thunderstorm is totally something I have done and will do again, given the opportunity.

This is just incredible, Amanda. Really glad you decided to stick it our one more day. I'm always nervous about being out in a lightning storm, so I don't get shot like this - wish I could. Well processes, also.

Ooohh I think I like the effect of the lightning better in this one than the other one. We just get sheet lightning not nearly as spectacular as your lightning!
