 I took this picture at Turkey Run State Park. We stopped here before heading to Rockville for the Covered Bridge Festival. I think we ended up spending more time here then at the festival. This is an absolutely beautiful park. There are many cliffs of limestone. This particular flower was growing out of some of the rock along one of the cliffs. I liked the delicateness of the flower against the rock. I also like how the flower is on one diagonal and the rocks on the opposite diagonal.

This is my first attempt at the Orton Effect. I am not sure how well I did. I like the picture considering it is my first attempt at something new.

The opposing diagonals of the background texture and the flower stem works well.

I just love the drama of the light dancing on the flowers with that rich, dark blurred background. I love that Orton effect. I think I use that alot too -- but not quite sure :)
