Thanks for the comment. The dam is situated close to the Knysna forest which can be seen in the background. I have posted another image of a view on the forest which was taken about 200 metres from the dam.

Hey, that looks alot like Texas :) I bet South Africa is prettier tho, and I know from some of the other South African photographers' work (Lesley Goodman) that the people there are so photogenic, I want to make the trip just to capture some of its interesting people!
