 The light is probably around 4 in the afternoon. The Sun is shooting down the street from behind the man at an angle that gives off strong reflections from the window panes on to the street. There is also a building behind the camera reflecting a little light back on to the subject.

there's something about the distortion of the building lines (especially top-right corner) that distracts though?
