 Actually, this is - you guessed it - beige. I just couldn't take any more beige so I hue-shifted it to a lovely bright and cheerful green! It's a doormat - a very sturdy doormat. Couldn't find any cooperative bugs, and after the flora challenge ends, you'll see that I had a hard time finding flowers, too, so you get a doormat. But it is indeed a closeup of a doormat!

This is cool. I love macros like this. Nice highlights and wonderful details. I'm a bit surprised it did not score at least a six.

lol i guess the rest of us take beige for granted. From the thumbnail I thought this was gonna be a funky plant. Great macro and the green looks lush.
