| Lea, I like the composition and the color. They both remind me of more traditional photos and art. My big problem is the blotchiness of the background. I don't know whether that's noise, JPG compression artifacts, or something else, but it distracts me quite a bit. I'd also suggest trying it with the flame centered. I normally like off-center, but here it just feels like empty space to me. |

Nope, not an OFF candle.
It's a Glade scented oil candle, "blushing berry" |

| Very cool for a macro shot. I haven't seen a flame capture quite like this one. Love the detail in the metal? Has a nice gritty feel to it. |

| I like the detail in the lighter and the contrast of the frame. The only thing that bothers me about this shot is the grain in the background. |

| Well composed but it does little to hold my attention. Not sure the Duo tone was the best choice for this. |
