with the framing and different directions it almost looks like part of a stage play...nicely seen...

What is real and what is shadow? Will we ever know? I like how the characters are themselves overwhelmed by a wave/sky of shadow.

Nice idea however the trees at the top of the frame don't add anything to the image. I think it would work very well cropped to a square.
