 I didn't want to journey down the obvious Autumn color or floral road for this challenge.

I love the zen and bliss of water gardens.

Edited in Canon DPP using curves for the coloring effect, open in CS3, resize, sharpen. The image was actually shot in mid afternoon...I loved the metallic look of the lily pads. The light I saw in my mind reminded me of the silver a bright moon spins...pure magic.

I love how the water just disappears, making the lily pads pop out from the picture. full but still dynamic composition, I guess because you've got some nice "negative space" going.
