 The idea behind the capture was the chaos found in the forest (fallen, twisted limbs etc.) and the leaf unable to make it to the ground. I had thought of putting more leaves in the "trap" but decided against it due to this seeming a bit more natural (it was just the way I found it). The sun is at about 1 o'clock just outside the photo. I did use levels to adjust the tone of the leaf, but that is all.
Being a BASIC editing challenge, I didn't want to go to far. After reviewing other photos in the challenge i guess I could have made copies of the file and worked the dynamic range a bit more.
I also thought that adding a couple more leaves might have helped.
Any thoughts would be helpful, THANKS.

Excellent capture, perfectly titled, the dark greys of the limbs are a perfect balance against the bright light on the leaf. Love it.
