This was so frustrating trying to do drip shots because the fasted shutter I could get was 200 because of my flash sync speed but this one turned out kinda cool, the liquid was yellow so I adjusted the hue in photoshop. I added a black background for this particular setup
I like the shape of the drip. The hotspots are a little distracting though.
If you are not balancing flash with ambient then the shutter speed of the camera is not relevant. Even though your shutter speed is only 1/200, the flash duration will be less. As an example, this was a long exposure (a few seconds) in a dark room with the flash stopping the motion.
