One of my favorite abandoned adobe buildings, about a mile down my street.

PP:
- combine 6 images of different exposures in Photomatix to create tonemapped HDR
- crop image
- clone out some telephone wires
- create duplicate background layer, apply shadow/highlight adjustment full on; set layer opacity to 40%
- create duplicate layer of shad/hili, apply Virtual Photographer filter 'character'; reduce layer opacity to 53%
- create duplicate layer of VP filtered layer, apply radial blur at 3; set layer opacity to 33%
- resize and add as layer suemack's book cover texture, 'hard light' blend mode, opacity 21%
- resize and add as layer goodman's texture frame thing, blend mode 'multiply', opacity 62%
- adjust levels
- resize
- save for web

The part I'm not crazy about the more I look at it is the radial blur. The image was too sharp and I wanted to give the impression of a long exposure old photo, they were always a bit blurry, but I think radial blur was the wrong kind. Ah well, live and learn!

Here is medium exposed original single shot

Hi Lesley,
I used the image you called 'texture frame thing' [thumb]593642[/thumb]
which is really wonderful!
Cheers,
Colleen

Think you're right about the radial blur, but I love the general effect you achieved.
