 Hamadryas Baboons - Melbourne Zoo

Ok so for those who didn't 'get it'.

Hamadryas Baboons spend the majority of their days grooming each other - it's fantastic to watch, so intimate and at times like this image - humorous.

So basically they search each other for fleas, pick them out and eat them - nature at work.

This image appears to have not been 'searching' enough for the voters - GRIN!

This is a great capture. Saw your Orang-e-tang, and while it is technically and emotionally beautiful, and is well deserving of a ribbon, this one is my favorite. It's priceless. Congrats on both images.

"got" that shot, but found there were too many distracting elements: harsh light, dark shadows at left, cage, greenish cast.

Not sure what he's searching for lol. Cool lighting and poses but a little lacking challenge criteria(would do better in the fauna challenge IMO).
