Wonder how many people are going to hate the tilted horizon....haha

We woke up at 5:30am to drive out to this location. I had never photographed in a sunrise before and found that sunflaring was less of an issue out there. This one began as a VERY flat lit image because the sun was coming at her and wanted very badly to just silhouette her. Post processing I literally took the layer, duplicated it and set it to hard light and then lightened her dress a bit. It brought out the color and made it pop more.

ps. I had a five in 1 reflector with me a and used it for some shots but at this one I couldn't get it to reflect enough light to bring her out any more so I didn't mess with it for this one

I like the tilted horizon, IMO it works quite well and combined with the warm colours and almost serene scene makes the early am shoot well worth it, nicely done!

I like this one much more than the first one. Same great golden light but I prefer this one's composition more. The tilted horizon works for me, it's at enough of an angle to seem deliberate.
