| You are as frightening as Picasso was to pre-WWI art dealers (at least, in my imagination of history). Not because you are doing something historically new, but because what an artist does is always new. People used to be excited whenever a new Beatles album came out. I get the same feeling by visiting your portfolio. |

svetlana, how can you make such great pictures while expressing the emotion you do. your picture leaves me speechless with a tear in my eye. it's a good thing you have a few humorous pictures also in your portfolio.

| An absolute masterpiece. Such technically perfect portraits by many other artists end up looking sterile, but yours is bursting with raw and wild emotion. Still, I hope you won't have occasions to do more self-portraits as sad as this one. |
