 At bedtime in our house we tuck the girls in and usually read a book to them. Some nights when the girls get into bed later we are not able to read a book. Cartesia loves books and will do her best to try and read the book through the pictures. If she is not looking at books she is begging Ken or I to read to her. Here she is this evening reading a book at bedtime.

I am usually quite modest but, I have to say that I love this picture. I am so proud of myself. I am a little disappointed with the way the picture looks as a thumbnail, oh well.

I REALLY like the processing on this! I agree, the thumbnail doesn't do it justice, but when you open it, it is just adorable.

Great job on the processing - those colors just jump off the screen. She will cherish these pictures when she's older.

I like it too! What a beautiful little girl. And she looks so cozy snuggled up in her bed with a book.

We used to every night try to read a book but ALWAYS we had to sing them a song and say a prayer. To this day, the few songs we sang them are special childhood memories that were included in their wedding slide shows :) Savor every moment of it...it goes by all to fast.

But now, our little Abby, one of our kids' daughters, is asking at bedtime, "Can you sing me a song". We've come full circle :)

You should make a book for cartesia and put this picture in it :) It looks straight out of a picture book you did good :)
