A cute orange? tabby :) I do agree with the other posters that this does work really well in b/w. Splendid job with the conversion. The tones look great. It also looks a bit high key but not over the top. I like that.

I like that you didn't follow the trend of alot of entrys, a crappy blurry pet-from-above shot. This is excellent shot |

I like the treatment in this one. Good use of the lines of the chair to frame the cat a little differently within the overall picture space. |
