 Taken at 7:36 PM, sun was down but still effective during a long exposure, this was 28 seconds. The light from the lighthouse was twirling about so only part of the time it was in the exposure. I used shadow/highlights and tone mapping but faded the effects back on both. Also selective color adjustment layer and a slight curve. Ran Luko USM technique then I used Gaussian blur and masked out the effects on the light house and some of the rocks. Flattened image and then resize for the web, duplicated the image and sharpened again but only selectively. For example completely on the lighthouse and rocks in the sea and about half effect using a mask on the cliff rocks. Then dodged the lighthouse and burned a little of the rocks behind it. It got the full treatment ;-P.

thats awsome, the water looks like clouds and it appears as if your up high on a mountian looking down into clouds and all you can see are peaks comming out of the sky

lol I am reading all your post-processing steps and I think my brain shut off. Post processing not my specialty so I am trying to take pics that don't need as much work done.

This is beautiful! The water looks so soft and I love the line of glow from the lighthouse. Very cool.
