 This is a candid shot I took of my hubby snuggling up to Pride when we were out at my sister's house. Pride has been in a couple of challenges, and I can't even tell you how much I love that horse!

My sister works with autistic and mentally disabled children. She does "hippo therapy" which involves giving these kids riding lessons and teaching them how to care for a horse. She is gifted with them, and it is amazing to watch the transformation in some of these kids' lives. I'm in awe of her work, and it makes me love her horses even more, because they are psychically sensitive to these children :)

I put my slight acid treatment on this. Oh how I am loving my acid these days :)

Ohhh, I love the softness of the horse in this picture! I wish I could reach out and pet Pride. Thanks for sharing your story. I am always happy to hear about someone that is trying to help change a child's life.

This is a beautiful shot, Pride looks so soft! The acid effect definitely works for this, really a nice candid Sandy!

I love the angle and pov on this shot. IMO, the acid treatment is just a bit overpowering on your highlights but great overall shot.

I really like the white on white feel of this - white face and hands, white hat, white horse, white background. And the details, though soft, are sharp and clear. Very nice.

Beautifu touching image. The story behind the horses and your sister is especially touching to me. We have a handicapped grandson who has been involved in a similar program here in Utah. The people who work with these wonderful children are angels, and I am in aw of their love for the children as well as the horses. Thank you for sharing.

A very sweet photo. I guess I am one of the few who doesn't like acid though! Hate to be negative, but I really like this photo other than the acid treatment.

Lovely photo. The acid treatment works very well. My husbands niece has taken hippo therapy, she's autisic, and it's done wonders for her. The whole experience just seems so amazing to me. I'm in awe too.
