Taken on a recent hiking trip to Iron Goat Trail on Stevens Pass. The marten saw me, hit a snow shed bulk head, stopped, turned and looked and I snapped the shot. He climbed the darn thing, which is probably 50 to 75 feet high...then proceeded to fall. I missed that shot but got a group of photos of him climbing the bulkhead. The marten was fine and scurried off down the trail.
