Well while I was on vacation, I woke up one morning/afternoon, and went out on my hotel deck. It was the 5th floor I believe. Well someone must have been feeding the Seagulls from this high up, because as soon as I went out on the deck I had about 5 of em flying around my head, then landing on the ground and looking up. Then they would fly up and around again. So I ran in and grabbed my camera and started shooting. I caught this and was pretty stoked because it was just with my Tamron 28-75mm lens. Not a monster zoom lens. Once I put the shot on my computer I was really happy with how sharp and close it actually was. I am sure it won't do that well in free study, but I thought it was my best of the month and for sure my luckiest shot of the month. Hope everyone enjoys.

Wow, this is so pretty. Was this a stuffed bird in the museum? Either way, very pretty.

Beautiful capture. I think the difficulty of a capture like this is sometimes under-appreciated. Excllent DOF

Nice and soft and sharp where it matters... wish the wing wasn't cropped.

Great diagonal line. Love the square crop too.

Very nice sense of freedom - I like the softness and the motion in the wings.

Great in-flight capture! One of the instances where the cut-off wing doesn't distract IMO.
