Who would think a butterfly would work so well in black and white, obviously you did and you were right, bumping to 10.

Doing a butterfly in b/w was a different approach, but it has no impact for me. Perhaps some partial or selective desaturation instead?

Love the details on the petals, very nice tones too. The butterfly seems a bit soft, though, I wish it was a bit more in focus.

contrast is too high here, wish there was more drawing visible in the dark areas of the butterfly and in the bright petals. right and upper border look slightly blurred.
