Really cool shot! IMO much better than quite a few above it. You deserved better!

I'd prefer a tighter crop on the people. Great clarity and good use of b/w.

Great candid shot. Black and white looks good here. Very well composed.

not any interesting subject in this "portrait" of people's backs.

OK, bit confused as this isnt strictly a portrait, but not really a candid as it feels `staged`, so I will err on the side of caution and say this meets the challenge.. I am liking the BW conversion here and the DOF. intersting shot, deserving a 7.. well done.

hmmm, picture does not realy appeal to me. Although the composition is quite nice, I dilsike looking at backs and the blown out highlights in the picture. The bright thing on the left is very discturbing: it draws away the attention from the group and does not seem to add anything to the picture.

Moody. I think of a portrait with faces not backs. My opinion.

i like the take you did on the challenge - the balance of the people to the land is great, and with their backs to us, it adds a great appeal. nice job.

This is a really nice shot. To my eye, however, it would be even better if you could have decreased the density a bit. There is so much contrast that it almost looks cluttered. Nice shot though.

nice B&W. love the DOF and and i even like that's it's not a straight-up portrait. great job.

Love the editing and tones but to me a portrait has to be deliberate. Looks like a snapshot with nice editing. Not trying to sound harsh, but that's the way I see it. ;~D
