I LOVE this place - it's up in the hills by the side of a winding road and it just looks like someone up and left one day - inside is filled with odd bits of someone's history... very cool!
I had way too much time on my hands when processing this - was laid up with a sore foot - still not sure it's how I wanted it to look, but am not confident I have the skills yet to process how I'd like - GRIN!
Anyhoo - I tried SO many experiments with this - all within the Advanced ruleset:
Slight changes to RAW file in DPP then covert.
In photoshop convert to PSD file levels, curves, select colours (one by one), then constrast, hue/sat - if fact I tried them all - often just going 'step backward' once I saw the result.

I love this shot... very emotive to me. Peaceful, yet ever so vaguely threatening. I'm fascinated by abandoned buildings, and the lives they once held... I can't help but think of the time and love that went into constructing it; the plans the builders had, and wonder what happened that caused it all to go awry.
PM me if you post any outtakes - I'd love to see them.
This is one of those photos that makes the viewer want to know more. I'd really like to enter that building and poke around. Great colors and slight spooky emotive.
