 A surf sailer whose sail had dumped into the ocean. He finally got it back up into the air and came onto the beach to untangle the lines.

Right at sundown, so there were long shadows from the beachside highrises.

Alicia, the sky is gorgeous! I love the light on the sail and and the contrast of the yellow against the blue is beautiful!

Alicia, I loved the colour in this one, although for some reason the pier is coming over a little blurry (I have a big thing about piers!!!!)

Still cant fathom out the scoring for FS...sigh...this is not a 5.3

Good, fun capture. The sail reminds me of a quarter moon shape. The people get a little lost with such a large vista, but its a nice image overall.

I think your shot needs the master kite flyer too. Just no connection from from pier to kite.

beautiful complimentary colors. nice touch that the kite not only cpatures the wind but the sun light as well.

I like the colors here. The composition does not work all the well for me, though -- I think a tighter crop (cropping a bit on the left side) would have made it a bit stronger.
