This was a lot of work for what I predict will be an average score!

I shot the scene with an empty cup. Then I printed it to the exact size of the actual cup. I cut out the circle of the cup ifself, then cut that in half. Then I filled the cup with coffee and placed the cut out of the empty cup on the edge and photographed it again.

I lot of touch up editing and blending to take out the rough edges. Still has an issue at the bottom, but everything I do makes it worse.

Wow, really cool. I bet if you'd have placed the spoon, in the cup,it really would have blown people's mind!! Very underappreciated!! Good job!

This is cool! Intersting take on the challenge. beautiful use of color I love that everything is tan except for inside the cup, the spoon doesn't add in my opinion, it adds a silver element which contradicts the dichotomy created by the blue and warm colors.

Nice colors and the texture of the mat is good for the subject. It caught me off guard a little, even though I knew it was a "half" picture. Nice work.

I don't know how you did this but it's unique and imaginative and because it's crafted so well I'm giving you a 10.

Great idea - but I think you missed a bit on the execution. The cup is slightly off-center on the plate, and I don't know why, but the spoon and chocolate don't seem very complimentary as-placed.

Still, a clever idea. 7

very well done, though the color inside the cup hurts the image. How's that done, jelly?
