This looks like an axis deer? Lovely antlers, too bad the right antler is a little cut off and difficult to see against the black. Do like the lighting and unusual perspective here.
avg vote, good lighting, dof, kinda a comical view of the deer but not really the a pose that works for me, if his rear was more to the left and straightened with the deer looking back rather then the twisted look its in now i think it would work better. Next time higher another deer that can take direction when being photographed :P
nicely lit, great details. 2 things I would suggest: a more fevorable presentation of the beautiful animal, not necessarily backside first. And a less busy more simple background, more like the one of the left side to make the antlers pop more
