lol, cool. The title made me think it was going to be a fish or something (since I wasn't quite sure what it was from the thumbnail). This is a really neat shot of something you could see on the beach anytime, very nice.

I've made no secret that I'm not a fan of very narrow DOF, but in this shot it works nicely. The blurred foreground works with the uneven surface and reflections on the water to lead your eye to a completely in focus main subject, and there is no distraction in the blurred background. Even the dark area in the upper left has no recognizable form - it clearly says, "nothing here to look at". This combination makes your main subject stand out, and does the band of in-focus area that goes across the picture horizontally (again helped by the distortion of the water/sand). This is very, very nice.
