This will probably tank, I don't like doing faces in basic editing. It is so hard because I always have that one tiny spot I want to clone, oh well. I know the tear isnt in the shape of an s but the challenge description said it is often in the shape of an s so I took some liberties. There are some s's in her profile. I had a TON of outtakes and I ended up picking this one because the composition seemed the most interesting (despite the cut off lip) and it had 2 leading lines, the shape of her profile and the tear (eye drops....I think we used an entire bottle)

ps. I am aware that this is noisy, somewhere in the black and white conversion it brought out way more noise than I wanted so I just went with it and added a little bit more. This is definitely not the typical dpc style but honestly I don't really care any more. I am just going to take my pictures :)

While I like this photo, except for the masscare flakes, I don't see the center being much of an S -curve

Nice emotive image. I like the tone and composition in general. Not quite sure of the connection to the challenge. If I understand this challenge correctly, it's supposed to be a leading line that takes the viewer thru the image, not just a letter 'S'. Hmmm, nonetheless, good luck in the challenge.

Poignant picture, but the tear seems to be the subject and the only place I can locate an S curve is in the blurred facial profile.
