Sweet!! You got a new lens!! I will second the suggestion of using a tripod next time because, believe it or not, the blur is the only thing that messes with this shot!! Try a layer of shadow/highlight in PP as well... it will help the detail pop out :) Love the pic, keep up the good work, and enter a challenge already :P LOL
And your shot with a hair of tweaking, just might measure up to his??

| detail is ok, I think bassbone got ya beat though!..keep trying, I like your tones better.Use a tripod. |
