| Those highlights on the smaller petals look like pearls. I'm very glad you went dark with this - makes it a very interesting study of shadows and depth. |

| It is a little dark but I assume it's intended to be, and I like it that way. Maybe not soft enough for the voters, but definitely not sharp enough for a normal challenge here. I think it worked quite well. |

The majority of this flower is in perfect focus, just a little bit of it is soft. It appears to be underexposed or that the shadow/highlight tool was used to pull the hightlights down too much.
I do like the composition and the flower though. :) |

| Oh, this is a *really* wonderful image....I was walking across the kitchen with this shimmering across the screen and I just was amazed at the effects! What a truly stellar image!!!! 8 and a Fav!!!! |

Composition: Subject Placement,good Cropping, would have cropped so no Background
Technical: Focus, Exposure: good,
Appeal:lovely colour, good focal point
