This is a photo of my horse, Mouse, that I really liked and thought would make a great b&w but the background was ugly and did nothing to enhance the image. So I layered Mouse's image over another image of a cloud filled sky. Then I desaturated, did some dodge and burn to enhance Mouse and darken the background, and added the "mist" at the bottom of the frame wanting to give the appearance of fog burning off in the sun.
