Best way to get soft focus naturally - the dappling of color is quite painterly, and spread randomly over the frame as it is makes this shot vibrant. |

LOL! I love your comments. I think reflections were a good choice for this challenge and I do like the ripples and don't think it hurts that they're in focus - the overall impression is indeed "soft". |

very interesting shot and matching challenege very well. I'm struggling to understand what would make it 9 or 10. Maybe more hard light on trees to make more contrast or satrurated colors? |

Water has it's own "soft focus" doesn't it? I love that you captured your shot by thinking "outside the box"! I truly hope that others get this too!
Like a calm water's surface, Life is but a mere reflective illusion. Only when the surface has been broken, do we see what truly exists.
Life has a way of creating those ripples so that we see reality. |
